Dear Mr. Boyd
In early fall, Harvey Hottel Inc. was hired by Fairfax County Public Schools to replace the water heater at Providence Elementary School. We were informed that this would be a complex operation. The insulating of the water heater piping was subcontracted Kelco Insulation. Initially the work was scheduled to occur during school hours. With keeping the best interests of our students in mind, we requested a change that avoided the disruption of instruction. The staff at Harvey Hottel was quick to rearrange the schedule in order to best meet the needs of our school environment. We appreciated the flexibility given in regards to scheduling and the clear and the frequent communication we received from you, Mr. Boyd, as well as from your sub contractor. This allowed us to be informed about the impact this work would have on our staff and our students.
Additionally, although the work was quite involved it was completed in an efficient and non-obtrusive fashion. Providence Elementary greatly appreciates the special care and consideration we were given during this period.
