Hottel Energy Group - LEED Certified Green Building Systems
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, provides a suite of standards for environmentally sustainable construction.
At Harvey W. Hottel we feel that eventually, markets won't accept anything short of a green building. In the year 2000, 600 million was spent on buildings that had registered to go through the LEED Certified Building process. Today that figure has grown by billions and there is no end in site.
Serving the Mid-Atlantic since 1945
Just about every industry is advertising their green offerings these days - products that help consumers to save energy, lower emissions, reduce waste and improve air quality. At Harvey W. Hottel we feel that there is nowhere it makes more sense than in the HVAC industry. Today high-efficiency heating, cooling, and ventilation products are in great demand by developers and consumers that are looking to cut energy, improve air quality and lessen their impact on the environment.
Much as we were when the company was founded in 1945, we have been at the forefront of green technology, offering a full compliment of services to those that are looking to build a LEED Certified Green Building.
We have complete design and build services available to those that are looking to "go green". Should you already have your construction partner in mind we offer our engineering services minus build out.
